OK, I'll say it. He's totally full of s**t. Anybody who could turn zero bucks into $20,000 to $30,000 in two years would be playing at a level that brings a healthy level of notoriety in the online poker world. I've read the posts and we're not talking Devilfish Ulliott here, boys. Poker and pathology often travel together.

First of all i dont usually play in large buyin games where most of the recognition lies. And despite my success im not rich. 30k dollars is still not alot of money in this world. Another thing is thepokerdb.com does not account for SNG and cash games so its not a completely accurate account of all moneys won.

look at your stats online trust me when I say they are very respectful and I do believe you are a good player and I know you can make money from nothing. I know a guy that had $0 online 2 years ago and now he has like over 200k and plays 25/50NL. I know a lot of players online and if you play middle to big games it wouldnt be hard to run your name by them. I will post your stats here so people can actually see yes you are a winning player. I never doubted that at all I just doubted how you came across and the quote I bolded is just silly.

And like i said in another post the Full Tilt stats are not complete. they only started posting results in 2006 after some big wins i had there.

again like I have said over and over I never said I didnt believe you even in my 1st post I said it. I just go by the information that is availible to me on the forum and on the net. You can post more about how you did it or in the HA section to help new players to poker that would benifit from your knowledge.

There are a lot of new members these last couple weeks that are in same situation you used to be in, trying to build bankroll from nothing. Maybe you could help them out.

Honestly, at the momemt Im just scraping by really. I've only been playing now for 2 weeks after a long layoff. I do KNOW that if i choose or need to play online to make money i will.

there are a lot of players that win constantly and dont concider themselves the best. There are people on here that are level headed enough to know that even though they are winning they still need to improve. HELL there are online pros that constantly say they played a hand incorrectly. I watch there videos everyday where they make incorrect plays still.

you have no fear because you are playing properly bankrolled which is great. Again I dont know your skills as a player because honestly I have never seen you post anything in the HA section or strategy section to base my opinion on so I will take your word for it that you are good.

What you said is absolutely correct....my rebuttle is that the mere fact that I and many others could make a living in something as difficult as playing online poker automatically puts us in the top tier of players.

but dont you agree that 30k in 2 years really isnt making a living right? you say you have played for 2 years right? 30k is not enough for me to live off of for a year let alone 2 years. Now im also figuring this money has come recently and maybe you think you are really good by that. Also since you said you dont have records I suggest you get pokertracker and start keeping track of how you are doing then in 6 months look over your stats and then figure if its something you could do for a living. That would be the smart thing to do.

Its actually not 2 years of straight playing....there were long periods of non playing... and i have supplemented my income other ways. BUT i can honestly say whether a good thing or a bad thing(now im embarrased) i have not had a normal job in those 2 years. Im not living it up by any means. I guess i dont have extravant taste.
