At one point I was sure we needed Flash Player to run poker site software.
Does anyone know if this is still the case? I figure with Adobe Flash Player ending support end of this year that poker rooms would have updated their software for sure.

I am not a techie, so any help with this would be great!
Thanks!:icon_bigs

I don't have Adobe Flash installed and I am able to run the major poker clients.

I think most poker clients never used Flash player for poker because of the security risks.

888 used flash to run their promotional spins, but I think they stopped using it awhile ago.

I would uninstall Flash if you still have it.

As far as I'm aware Flash player is obsolete and I don't know what sites use it. I have a feeling Sky poker uses something odd, maybe it is flash player or silverlight. I wouldn't want to be using insecure obsolete software so would steer clear of any site that wants it installing.

Some online poker rooms offer playing poker directly from browsers using flash. Will there be any issues after Adobe ends support for their Flash Player?
