It depends on what you call electronic music, I'd call this electronic music.

I like many styles while playing poker.

In no particular order.

1. Guitar Blues
2. Piano Blues
3. 50's R&R
4. Rockabilly
5. Boogie Woogie
6. Ragtime
7. 60's/70's Rock.
8. And many more.
9. No Rap, Pop or Techno.

Soft electro beats are generally good for my concentration. If I need to up my aggression I'll switch to riff-heavy stoner/doom metal. [emoji869]

Generally I don’t like techno or dance kind of music. From my youngest years I listen metal music, all genres, but thrash metal was and still is my favourite. So, when I play poker, metal is in my ears

I like very much listening to electronic music while I play poker (and generally) , tracks from the far or near past . But I have witnessed that I have better results when I listen to soft greek pop hits from the 80s 90s , LOL (maybe because they relax me or wake my sleepy mind/brain with good vibes from my past/childhood ?? maybe )

Normally I liked listening to music without lyrics to concentrate better. Lately I have been listening to audio books and podcasts and I had good results, my imagination flows with the book and I manage to connect with the game getting in the zone.


What do you think about listening at podcast or audiobooks while playing??

Me too. EDM just gets you in the groove. I love listening to ABGT 2 hour sets while playing. Then usually switch it up with something more relaxed or no music for a bit. Going thru all the old sets. They are up to over 360 now that come out weekly. I'm on 64 so I have a ways to go
