Page 12 - This is a discussion on Do You Play Poker From Your Mobile Phone? within the online poker forums, in the Online Poker section; Hi, recently i just crush my two laptops displays beside of that i have to move to another city and for two months i don't
I've been playing mobile poker for the last few months and was doing very well converting freerolls into a small bankroll. I was up about $600 and then things changed.
The bigger freerolls went from $1K purses to $500 and several games are now satellites where they used to pay cash, needless to say you can't make the $ you used to for the same effort. The gameplay seems legit and I love being able to play from almost anywhere, but I refuse to deposit until I know more about this platform. Hope that helps.
I started out on Poker Stars on my cell phone but quickly switched to the computer to simplify multi tables. Now I play Poker Stars and ACR on the computer and 888P and GG Poker on the cell phone. I would have liked to play on GGPoker on the computer but I have a big lag problem as soon as I start a second table ... My MAC is not recent, it may be for that. Did you have this problem?
It is not convenient for me to play poker in mobile, firstly there is a small screen, secondly, the call interrupts the game and then, there are not all tournaments there, as in the game from the computer.
In my opinion, the best mobile platform has Natural8. It's vell organized, good looking, and easy to handle and also fast. And the biggest +1 , is not on the app store, store forexample here in Hungary i can also download it. Not like e.g. partypoker. That app i can't download because in my Country is not avaiable.
So play natural 8 on mobile, it's really good for MTT and spin n gold.
Mobile poker can be quite handy, it's convenient esp when I am on the road, and I cram more hands in a minute than mouse clicking.
That said, when I am playing games with bigger stakes, I prefer to use my laptop- the extra time it takes btn clicking and executing an action seems to give me an edge in just making the right play
I play with mobile phones, although not all applications work well, sometimes it is slow, but it did not cause me any special problems,I chose the right poker rooms for my phone and now I enjoy poker anywhere!
The mobile Apps aren't that convinient, but for a short jump in a cashgame while sitting in the train, waiting somewhere they are very good. I play them on PokersStars and 888, preferable App for me is Pokerstars.
Play a lot of Pokerstars on mobile, works well enough. Only thing I don't like is not being able to see the tournament lobby and check on position for the money if I'm getting short stacked. Other than that, all good!
