After reading the news section on CC I wonder is it worth playing online poker. At the end it ask "if you think you have been cheated......" how the hell do I know if I have been cheated. Do I report every hand I loose, because I must have been cheated why else did I loose.

It just hurts and feels really damn sad that top top pro players do this and sets example for kids and to general community and some of thoose players are their idol.
I talked to lex yesterday and they will ban then from live events rhat EPT is gonna hold.
Sad also that top players with great future will ruin potential their lifes.

But are they really doing it ? Are top sites really doing their absolut best to try to stop whats clearly has become a huge problem. I dont think they do thats the sad part

Everyone has to know for themselves what they believe, but I do believe that they are taking action against fraudsters and that security on the poker sites has improved significantly in recent years. But should I start to worry about fraud on the online poker sites, I would immediately stop playing poker there. Personally, I don't have that feeling and I continue to play poker on the online poker sites. Although I am more on pokerstars than on other sites

Yes, no cheating, it's just bad luck, that's all in poker, everything is honest over a long distance, you will understand this

Cheating can happen anywhere you play. The one time I was sure there was collusion against me was in a Vegas Casino. And the dealer saw it to. Proving it is another story, Does it happen online. I can and I am sure it does but the sites do look out for this. I know people who have been refunded for there losses and that's why I know why are looking.

Is it worth playing online, yes it it. I play smaller stakes and play for the fun and thrill of the game. If I was a profesional I would still trust the game but would only play on reptable sites.

cheating is possible, but I hope not from the Platforms, but from the players, for sure. I have seen players from the same country sharing information about their hands in a language not many understand; and besides that, to see many players form the same country with the potential to instant whatsapp connection makes it easier to share and decide when and how to bet.

Where ever there is money involved there will be cheating in one form or another, this is an unfortunate fact of human nature. Whether the sites are doing anything about it is something you just have to take on trust (ornot). I have witnessed massive chip dumps between Russian players, it happens consistently and blatantly, I report it, to be honest I don't see that player nickname again BUT it just keeps happening under other nicknames. So I am cynical because if the sites were really trying to stop this they would look deeper than just banning the nick involved, I am sure their algorythms can identify this but do they bother? sure doesn't seem like it. Alas this is the world we live in.

Cheating will happen in any walk of life wherever this is money. I for one accepted many years ago that Online poker is rigged to the highest order, but I have seen people cheat live too so I just see it as part of the hustlers life. You want to dip your toes in this swamp then you will get bitten for sure. To anybody still empty headed enough to still be talking about variance after the Super User scandals and the emergence of STEALTH OBSERVER then you need your very empty head testing. If somebody calls your all in with 8 high and you have 7 high you leave the table it is that simple, it is very obvious to me when somebody is using an Admin account and it is best just to leave than try take them on. He can SEE your cards wake up! It will never go away, burying your head in the sand and repeatedly saying variance and GTO seems to be the herd mentality at the moment. It will never stop me playing and it actually helps you be careful so it has positives too.

Really? I have seen it with my own eyes. What do you mean no chance to cheat? Every single site you just named has admin accounts which leaves it open to human dishonesty. Just because the site itself may not intentionally cheat people does not mean staff will not look to exploit STEALTH OBSERVER. I suggest you learn about this factual real existing real software before making baseless comments. Stealth Observer has been around for over a decade now and the film Runner Runner is based on it and a certain poker site running operations out of the very reputable non corrupt nation of Costa Rica.

Online poker sites are scams all together. ACR is probably the worst, there's always at least 1 or 2 players on every table you sit at that has those bullies that hits every single hand they clown with, and it's over and over and over on every table, also its a computer program so yes it can be manipulated. There will always be those players that will come on here and defend the sites, those are the ones to watch out for the most.

What is most bothersome to me is some sites overlook obv cheaters, botting or other collusion. There are many rumors of certain countr being notorious. Maybe if they input an algorithm to track results, similar log in times, and uniformed playing , especially after all these accusations I think it would be easy to spot RTA consistencies as well. Even when I look at certain locales sharkscope of players I feel playing a similar ultra Aggresive and particular style all seem to be steady winning a few thousand at the low stakes. Not every player but many seem to have the same roi and VPIP and win rate which can’t be coincidence. Obv some ring of bots. I hope the sites become more diligent.
