re: Poker & To Bluff or not to Bluff, without using Cash.
Bluffing is part of the game. Moreover, one of the most spectacular parts of it. This is especially true for audiences that have little understanding of game theory. Anyone who has never heard of waiting is unlikely to be impressed with how disciplined you played your last session. If the session is negative: there were no actions, you never hit the board, and you had pocket tens with better starting hands than you had, then, most likely, your unenlightened interlocutor will say that you simply cannot play. To some extent, he will be right. The red line will help you when the RNG does not help, because the main enemy of the poker player is himself.
It is important that bluffs are just a tool for making a profit. There is nothing special in them from the point of view of game theory, moreover, a good bluff never requires special willpower from the performer. Confidence comes from knowing that a given action is beneficial from a distance. Of course, adjustments should not be forgotten, however adjustments only mean that the action is beneficial at a distance against that particular opponent.
