I know a lot of these replies were jokes but the general rule of thumb is this. Statistically speaking it is never a good idea to take the cashout over a long stretch of hands.
Read that again. If you have a response to that that isn't "You're right" I strongly encourage you to read about basics statistics.
There is ONE reason I would ever do it and when I have done it. I had a few adult beverages and played in a game way outside of my comfort zone. I jammed all in and was an 86% favorite. I cashed out because losing that pot would have put me in a bad mental state.
FWIW I won the hand outright and cost myself 14% of the pot.
TL;DR
NEVER USE THE CASH OUT OPTION (unless you're drinking)

I usually when I win a bankroll, before I used to withdraw everything for fear of losing again, but nowadays I want to have a fixed income in poker so I always take 50% of the bankroll when it is over 1000$ and leave the other half in the cashier to be able to earn a few more bucks and do the same strategy the following month, not that I don't lose too.

If you want to play another day… cash out. It really depends on what type of hand you are dealt before that big decision is made… do you have AA pre flop or 2 7 off?? Try to exercise patience every hand and don’t get too frustrated and jam it all in…. Easier said than done lol
