Where and when did you start playing?

I started playing in a home game with a bunch of co-workers on a Saturday Fight Night after the fight we started the Tournament which i got a 3rd place on the final table, after that came live poker.

2003, after watching Chris Moneymaker won the wsop (I caught the Moneymaker bug). Learned strategies immediately, read poker books constantly, played on pokerstars a lot. Made money. God bless Chris.

In 2016, I saw EPT broadcasts on TV, where I learned that it was possible to play online and started trying to play in my free time. I liked it, I started watching tutorial videos to play better, but I don't have much free time, so I play for fun, mostly freerolls and inexpensive tournaments.

I hadn't even heard of Moneymaker but my friends put together a $10 home game probably around 2004. I showed up for some drinks and it turned out to be a lot of fun.

Made it to my first card room later that year, good ol' Canterbury in Minnesota. Can't believe I ever played 2-4 Limit lol.

But since then it has been a life long passion of mine.

In my early years i begun at the swimming pool when i was a kid and only played 5 cards poker, nobody knows Holdem or Omaha and about five years back i recover to play on, now it´s a multi gambling sport - good for us, so stay tuned

Where and when did I begin to play poker? My family used to have an extended family "reunion" once a year, they would rent a tent or picnic area and there would be food , music, and of course, kegs of beer. My father taught me to play small change stakes poker. Once he had a few too many, he would hand me his "stack" and tell me to have at it. He is the guy that taught me to only play serious on straight poker games, he hated when dealer would call "wild card" games. LOL- it is so funny how vivid my memories of this is still to this day. R.I.P. - Pops. I still miss you !
