Hey, hey I played many live tournaments and this weekend eh managed to win a tournament, it was not much prize money, but a great personal experience. The tournament featured 42 players.

I'd like you to tell me your experience and your best position which was obtained in live tournaments. It may be a short tournament, as well as some long tournament. regards

I don,t have any experience in live poker at this moment. Was trying to win at least one of the Satellites to 888 Sochi live event, but still can,t do it.
I think it will be great to play a big tournament. So you will have a good motivation, of course this will be not easy, but if you can do this you will have a good cash and you can spend this money on something good.

Live my best have been a few 1st place, my first was running really low the whole tournament mostly winning a few hands per level, and manage to stay alive with the high blinds till I either double and built more chips which then put me in the first place where we decide to chop. Good luck

I have no experience in live tournaments. I'd like to play live poker in a casino or poker clubs to gain experience. In live poker I rarely play with friends and it's fun.

When I play live tournaments, I play at Foxwoods also. I only live 45 min away. I like to play in $300 buy-in that they play on Saturdays when ever I have a chance.

I'm always jealous of the people who live near a big cardroom. I play live tournaments whenever I visit Las Vegas and love the experience; the felt, the cards, working with chips. It's obviously a lot slower than online and you can't multi-table, but it brings something extra.

The very first live tournament I played was a single table $80 buy-in...I won the $500 first prize, and have not won one since. My best experience was this year at the wsop, as part of the Cardschat team that played the Colossus. The place was simply electric, and I did make the money. The bonus was meeting Debi and other Cardschat regulars in person.

I have won a few tournaments live. Most of the time we chopped before getting down to heads up play though. I have been the chip leader at the time of the chops. Nowadays I play only cash games when I play live poker. I like the fact that I can leave whenever I want to in a cash game. I do miss playing live tournaments. I think I will play in one sometime soon.

I played some live tournaments.
My best position was a live tournament, the tournament was a satellite for a major regional circuit with over 20k guaranteed in prize money.
I won the satellite, but in the target tournament I was only in 20th position.
It was a great experience and also the biggest tournament I have ever played. Big players.

Typically play 1 or 2 live tournaments per week at a local casino. Have won some and placed itm multiple times. I played tonight, 5 levels and never won a pot. Best hand I saw all night was the last one lol!

I usually play in $75 Buy in Bounty at my local casino. I've Faired pretty well in them. Won a handful and cashed along with cashed more bounties than I made cashing . I tend to like the Bounty tourneys better just because the field doesn't play as tight as some of the other regular tourneys. Theres more equity to call for a Bounty chip.

Never played live tournaments. Think that live tournament is much more slower than online game.
