+1 Although I dress on the nicer side most days. I think it is more about wearing something you are comfortable in. If someone is wearing something that doesn't fit them (like a baggy suit for example) then it looks like they dressed for the occasion and I have slightly more reason to believe they are not a regular player.
I will also note that just because I usually wear suits or blazer jackets, that doesn't mean I am drawing attention to myself; there is a difference. I am not usually wearing anything that would draw attention to me. Something like a black blazer jacket over a dress shirt; I don't want them staring at me for potential
tells, I prefer to be the nobody that comes in, wins their chips, and go as casually as I came.
What I wouldn't do is wear something you don't normally wear because people can tell if you aren't comfortable. If you don't wear suits often, then don't wear one just for poker. If you don't wear hoodies anywhere else, then why would you for poker? In the case of a hoodie, you may think you are covering tells, but chances are it won't cover them all. I like to think of tells like a leak in piping; if you plug the hole, then the leak may show up in another place. I'd not overthink it and simply wear what you are comfortable in.
