I really like the Summer Series at The Orleans, they break most of their guarantees, and not nearly as crowded as the wsop. The Deepstack series at the Venetian is always good value too if you're looking for higher buy-ins, and there's also the Wynn Summer Classic going on up to July 19th. Personally if I'm looking for a series while in Vegas I always start with Poker Atlas, pretty much every poker room will register their series on the App.

I've played the Venetian and Orleans series, would recommend both (apart from the horrible Venetian rake).

Orleans was good for me some years back, made final tables there. I can't afford the bigger buy-ins. The atmosphere is not too bad, lots of local players.
But I agree the Venetian deep stack series are among the best in Vegas.

Debi used to really like the tourneys at the Aria. I'm not sure if that's still the case this year. I believe she's played at most of the different series going on there during WSOP.

Yea but this year they seem to be focused on higher buy-ins and variants. :(

Don't forget about MGM (not as many tables as other venues) which has their own summer series, and the Golden Nugget.

If your bankroll is limited, Resorts World is holding not a special series but a $200 buy-in $10k guarantee every day at 12:05. This is the same tourney they have normally at 12:05 but with a $200 instead of $160 buy-in. They've been getting between 200 and 300 players each day. What an increase in numbers from just one month ago when I played about 3 times at $160! Then they were only getting between 22 and 31 entries a day. As soon as they increased the buy-in and guarantee, the success of that tourney skyrocketed and I have no idea why, other than it seems like everywhere a huge poker boom is happening.

The Golden Nugget has a really nice series. Lower buy ins and really well run.

Does this tournament finish the same day?
