Sure if you don't mind paying $30 an hour in take, maybe more? In Cali were paying 15-20 hourly in take at 300 game. Simply impossible too beat.

Looks like this thread started right when Covid-19 did. The first tourneys I played after Foxwoods ended theirs in March of 2020, was in December 2020 up in Manchester NH and they were six player tables. It was alright but I'd rather have nine or ten because that it less big blinds that you have to pay.

6 can become a little predictable. Feel 8 is the best number

I prefer 6 players to a table. Used to have 6 in live league, but now so many players, we have 9 per table, which is a real squash. 6-7 is a better number and at least everyone is the starting basic blind before they go up.

Don't think it's less blinds, just takes longer to get to you, but when it does and if people run down the clock a lot, yours will be big, if you're still in.

Not sure why you want to limit the number of players. Each table requires a dealer so its more expensive for the casinos and less players will be able to play. I think ideally the casino would offer both 6m and full ring.

the most ideal option is 6 players at the table I think this suits everyone, but due to the fact that there are a lot of people and poker is not profitable, they made 9 players at the table thereby increasing the number of players at the table

6-max would speed up action, which is often very slow in live poker. But it would also mean, that a room need more tables, more space and more dealers to accommodate the same amount of players, which would drive up costs.

The smaller the person at the table, the less likely it is that one of them will have a strong hand. In 6-max, in most cases, no one will have a strong hand. Therefore, in 6-max, whether you like it or not, you will have to spin around playing marginal hands. At such a table, it is better to play with friends.
