Hey guys i want to go for my birthday in 2 Weeks in my casino to play a poker "tournament". Tournament in quotation marks, because it has every tuesday only buyins from 40-60 players, its more like an multi table sit n go for blind levels 20minutes. The starting stack is 15000 and blinds start at 100/200, and should i buy the luckybonus, the buy in is 100€ + 20€ rake, fyi the lucky bonus is when you can buy 30€chips for 27€ as a "welcome surprise" and get 30% more from the startick stack at the tournament as a bonus, should i buy it or is it better to pay only the tournament.
And guys... I know the rake is very high, but its live and not much players, the casino wants also to make money and i know with this rake the game is virtually unbeatable, but i want to play my first live tournament, so i pay the price.
I informed me before about the rules like the 1chip rule is only a call, and i should speak my actions better instead or should raise with more chips. I mean how should I learn in terms of exploiting people with their "poker tells", i dont have much experience in live poker, i have fear that i cant stand a poker face or give with my actions or timebank tells more information than i have to.
I am a good regular, who plays mostly in the microstakes between 5NL - 25NL, I play also sometimes MTTs with buyins from 1,10$ to 5,50$ and make a small profit, because i dont play so much, i play mostly on pokerstars zoom or cashgames, very rarely sit n gos!! Sometimes i play also on ACR, but only regular cashgames or 6max, never blitz poker or idk how its called!!!
Should i play the same strategy in live poker as in only MTTs or sit n gos or should i exploit much more than i would normally online do??
Thanks in advance
Best regards
Liviu, 18-19

Happy birthday in two weeks and good luck in the tournament! The rounds are pretty fast at 20 minutes but with 15k starting you still have lots of chips to experiment with. Try to stay in position with the big pots you play. Also, I know it sounds basic but try not to be in any big pots without a bigger hand like at least two pair or better.
Good luck let us know how you do!
