Greetings from San Antonio, TX. I am. 75+ year old recreational player with questions on WSOP 2024

Thank you for this forum. I am mainly interested in navigating Las Vegas poker rooms especially finding those that offer PLO, Omaha/8 and Big O. I also have wsop 2024 on my quickly approaching bucket list 🤪. I will be playing in the seniors events and lower stakes PLO and Omaha/8 events. I’ll hope to get advice about where to stay and logistics. Thanks in advance!

The Poker Atlas App & the Bravo app are your sources of up to date info on games running at various casinos.

It is very convenient to stay at the Horseshoe or Paris where the events are being held. I did that last year and will do it again next year. I only play NLHE so not any help to you on the events you are interested in except the Seniors - those are both good events.

I should finally be making it down to this year's WSOP in Vegas! (only been once before). It's always been very difficult for me to get away for more than a couple days (my partner is very ill & I have a big, very strong dog that has some anxiety issues, can't stay at a boarding place or friend's home & I have to organize people to come & take him out, walk him, etc. (a few times each day, lol). Last time I went to Vegas (won the trip in an online freeroll) I actually left and came home early with still a few days left on my room (HUGE regrets after, lol).
This year I also qualify for the Super Seniors event and am hoping to play a few events including it and the Seniors. Hope to see you there.
