Do you play better live or online?

I myself like the live poker being in WPT amateur poker league but the world has changed and so has live poker for now so i play more online for now see you at the tables

I play better online i think because im in the comfort of my own home. I like to play live as well but i like to play at home and i think it makes me play better

I have been successful at both but I do think I am slightly better online. This is due to being able to play events I can more afford.

I much prefer live, not a big fan of self dealt tournaments but I manage without messing up the deal too often.Before the lockdown my only social activity was playing pub poker, we play for points and have a championship tournament at the end of the season. Unfortunately it looks like it will be next year at the earliest before poker will be allowed back.

I like playing both, just live I find a lot more trash talkers. There might be trash talking with online, I just don't see it cause, I don't pay attention to the chat. Trash talking is funny, I love making people mad. Throws them right of their game.

Online you have to be focus all the time and that tires us faster and it easier to make mistakes. so I definitely play better live.

i would love to play live.. but never done ! shoul feel little uncomfortable at beggining i think .. bcz of dealing with real people , dealers, chips.. but im interested .

I'm certainly more comfortable live at the table. Online I feel like I make less smart decisions and I win more money live.

As with most things, it depends.
For me, I have access to far better information at my fingertips online, than when I was playing live. Certainly if at a casino.

I did however play in a monthly poker club downtown and over time, I accumulated a lot of info on style and situational poker, as well as the odd tell.

For my home games, playing with same folks for years, you get quite used to how people play...especially when it gets late.

But all in all, I knew far leass about poker when I played live, because I hadn't studied like I do now, and you play so few hands. Online poker gives you amazing feedback very quickly on how your adjustments are working. In a live setting, it can take forever to determine whether your success is just a result of variance, or whether it is because it is a solid strat.

It's a good question.

Results- So far, live is where I play better but my online game, the only game I can play right now, is improving a lot. But I think it's because I have a good live bankroll while I'm starting at a 0 bankroll and freerolls online. I do not trust online poker.

Preference- All I will get out of online poker is skill and money. Live poker gives me so much more then money. I feel like I'm being forced to eat spinach right now.

Definitely better live to analyze hands more closely. Also, because I can actually find limit games live.

You can get better reads on people in person as well and no poker HUDs to give any grinders advantages.

I prefer online cause it gives me chip count and pot size count. I have a hard time counting other players chips live as sometimes it’s hidden As I make my betsizing based on other players chip count. Online is so impersonal and I can vent in my underwear that keeps my focus in the game. Also live is so slow that I can’t seem to concentrate as well. When I play live. I have to listen to music I can’t be talking to another person at the tables

Live. Everybody and their dog dosent go all in with week hands like online. Very frustrating to play online when you want to play real poker.
