im never confortable when bluffing however in some scenarios it can be a + ev play. how to determined whether its profitable or not? it depends exclusively on two factors. luck and the opponent's style of play. bluffing is generally going to be less effective against loose aggressive players than against tight aggressive players since the first ones don't tend to fold their hand even if they don't connect a good hand postflop.
