bankroll management when Im on tilt. Could wipe my whole bankroll and nothing can stop me. I wish there was a software or a choice in pokerstars to click a button when tilted and deny you from playing more for the rest of the day.

Finding time to play more tournaments.

Curiousity when I know I'm beat.

Folding too much on a short stack.

Lots of others. ;)

I play two ways - a live tournaments at home with my brother and my friend and online, mostly freerolls. The game in both cases is different. Playing live I can train myself better and I am eager to improve my bluff.
Playing online freerolls I haven't got any winnings, what's a pity. And the thing is I don't know what I do wrong. Basically I suppose that I do most thing correctly but it doesn't bring any results yet.

Bankroll management for sure. Also putting my opponents on ranges and keeping track of that range as the hand progresses I struggle with.

I'll try to make a short list:
1. Playing preflop in early or middle position with low pairs or suited connectors;
2. To improve my squeeze skills (can't find best size);
3. Vary the different styles of the game (sometimes I'm too tight);
4. Focus on the actions of rivals (especially online);
5. To fight tilt, of course.
My gold five.

Most definitely focus. Generally online, I'll put one or two tables up and then spend time surfing the web. In my more disciplined (and profitable) days, I was much better about paying attention to my table dynmaics.

Do need some help here

Aggressive betting when coming out of the flop. I have no issues when betting my hand as it goes along. Example: have pocket A's Instead of raising large or going all in I up the raise by 1. Anyone have any wisdom?:confused:

My 2 biggest weakness is bankroll management & position playing. I always want to move up too quickly when I win a small stakes or freeroll. And I really need to pay more attention to my position

Poker is a game where you can see relativity a lot .. you can do the perfect things one day and lose ... and the next day you can make a couple of mistakes and win with bad cards. What can be improved if I think it is the structure of the game, or the study of the profiles of the rival, what possible actions to execute in some difficult situations.

The poker has infinity of situations that do not appear every day, they can spend months and not see a situation that you want to improve, but to spend so much time without seeing them you can err in the desicion .. it is complicated sometimes to correct some error without a lot of volume .. I think that to remove some defect in our game it is necessary more volume since there will be more situations.

The two biggest leaks in my game are:

1. Censored
2. Censored

Once I get those two things corrected I will find my next 2 that I will work on.

LOL too funny Floppy. I have so many leaks there are too many to name TILT, BRM, unfocused, dont care, tilt..:icon_rabb

95% of us are losers giving our money to the 5%.
No matter how much you learn, and I know plenty about the game, somehow you find a way to lose.
You will play brilliantly, text book poker, and still the beats will come.
I have never deposited, but have created good bankrolls starting with freerolls. I managed those bankrolls carefully and stop playing cash games on sites where the beats are consistent.
Once you make enough posts and can join the CC freeroll club there are plenty of games to enjoy and have fun with.
Eventually, playing to many money games, you will be discouraged by opponent suck outs and give up.
My advice is play for recreation, have fun and what ever you do don't make big deposits and chase your losses.
The casinos are just interested in their cut from huge turnovers and that means every individuals bankroll and more deposits from the losers.

Most of us have areas in our game that needs improvement. Are we too loose pre-flop? Too passive post-flop? Not betting the correct amounts? Do we lack patience?

There are too many things you can be doing wrong to list all the possibilities so I will just right down a few things that I know I need to improve and am working to do so.

My weaknesses:

1. BANKROLL MANAGEMENT. I have been building a bankroll from zero since January. I know I should stick to certain games only to keep my Bankroll going up instead of the valleys I'm experiencing by taking shots. I'm not busting my bankroll but merely going up and down from taking shots then building back up and so on. I am working to combat this by not taking shots as often and for a less percentage of my bankroll.

2. SHORT HANDED BUBBLE PLAY. I do OK on most bubble unless it's in a smaller tournament when the tables get down to 3-5 players. I generally don't factor in the short-handed aspect and don't adjust my pre-flop ranges accordingly. To combat this I am watching short-handed strategy stuff to help me in these situations.

3. BUTTON AND BLIND PLAY. I know I play too tight from these positions and it probably costs me in tournament play. I always think I'm getting outplayed in the blinds. It's a part of my game I am working on by being more aggressive by jamming lighter to a button raise that I feel is someone stealing. Also I'm raising more buttons to steal so when I do have a monster on the button I get paid off.

4. STUDYING. I have never been much into studying because I am lazy. I know it is part of improving my game so I now will look back through iffy hands after my sessions. I post some hands here as well to get feedback and different perspectives. It is helping because sometimes the bad beat you are complaining about is after all a bad play as well.

5. VOLUME. I know I need to play more but sometimes I quit playing early because of bad beats. I'm trying to set a number of tournaments or a time frame for cash games for each session and play that each day unless I don't feel I'm playing my A game which is more of a C+/B- game :eek:.

Anyway these are my main areas of concern and what I'm doing to combat them. I hope to see some other people disect their weaknesses as we all have them(I think).

Time Management for me in cash games. I stay and play far too long sometimes. I'll be up multiple buy ins and then get coolered for multiple buy ins. I know all the stop loss and setting time limits etc.just got to keep working on this.

I definitely relate to the studying part as well yeah. But besides that I'd say knowing preflop ranges is my weakest spot. I feel quite comfortable post flop but since my opening ranges are quite blurred I sometimes am having trouble narrowing down opponents to an exact range of hands. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to improve this?

Watching players calling big on draws

I loose out on larger stacks calling with connectors. A while ago I had to walk out of a tournament without rebuying to avoid tilt. I called an obvious AA preflop with KK. I was paying close attention to the flops and I knew I was going to make the trips. I did... The problem was a third hand calling both of us was 10-9 spades and my K on the board made his straight.

in my weakness 1 I manage my bank badly this year I have invested a little more than $ 50 and not given the dividends for not entering the details of the figures I set goals to play but after I win I lose control when I do not get the prize I look for in a tournament and I finish playing tournament that are not in my calendar 2 Patience I despair when I'm losing hands that looked like mine and being in decent positions in tournament I end up throwing the chips 3 The Pocision although I start with rules learned throughout the time I have been playing when I have a premium hand that becomes strong but not invincible I like to see what they won me even though in the community it is more than obvious 4 I tend to cover more than what I can play and to pay attention to other things of higher priority I should play badly on days when I will be absolutely available and this what I will reveal because, on having a good thought, they sit down at a table with me and they already have more or less an idea of my game hahaha:eek::icon_tong:birthday:

Unfortunately for me, a big part of the problem . In addition, a bad bluff and wrong choice of bets . A selection of tournaments . At all sometimes play poorly .
