What do you do when you're having a bad day of grinding, losing with trips, top pair and everything else?
Do they turn off the PC or Analyze what you could have done to avoid losing all your chips and being eliminated?

These are the days I just stop playing. One of the worst things you can do is continue playing when you start to tilt as it will just cost you more. There have been days I sat down to play 10 or more tournaments and called it a day less than an hour later as I can feel I am about to go on tilt.

Thanks for your help!

I'm finding it very difficult to stop these days, a strange thing is Sundays, just insane bads, for most players Sunday is the best day to play, I decided today not to play anything on Sundays

This cannot be avoided. Everyone has a bad weekend. And these days are more than good days. Therefore, I wish you patience in this difficult matter.

Happy to help mate. I actually took 3 weeks off from the game as it was bothering me a lot more than I want to admit. 2nd game back I took one down. Best of luck to you mate.

Dealing with tilt it's not that easy for me, but after years of play I have learned to accept that you are not going to win everyday and there are days that no matter what hand do you have, you will lose. In these days, I just stop to play poker.

When I'm on tilt it lasts a long time. But I'm working on it so I can improve it. I think the best thing would be to turn off the pc at that time and watch a movie.

I will take a break, talk to my friends, go to eat something, or simply just listen to happy music. I won't analyze the games if I get titled, I'll do it in the future when I feel more comfortable.

I'll start doing that, and I have a question, answer if you feel you should. How many years have you been playing poker?

Continue to play a solid game and try not to allow emotions into your head let alone allowing them to effect your decision making or game play.

When I lose on any cards, I just stop playing for a couple of days, so as not to spoil my mood. If I only made my living playing poker, I wouldn't know what to do. But probably also just switched to another activity, like growing flowers or fishing.

Well, best you can do is to take a break and recallibrate your mind to a more peaceful place. Poker is gambling at the end of the day and variance will come to hurt you as it should..
Meditate and come back when you are feeling physically and mentally great!

As others have said, the best thing to do, if its just not your day, and you begin to feel annoyed, is to end your session early and do something else. For me that typically dont mean studying hands but something non poker related like watching a movie or going for a walk.

Usually you can tell after a point it's not your day when you keep losing your hands, so when i know it's not my day i'm finishing the remainder of the game i ='m playing and after that just call it quits, no point in tilting either won't help me at all only will help the other people at the table

In such situations, i can break loose and there have been situations when I lost control. A very unpleasant condition. When the brains began to work calmly, I did not turn off the computer if it was still daytime. Just was looking for something on the internet to take my mind off things.

I always control my emotions, always. All because I have a clear system of bankroll management. I also always analyze my mistakes, and that's why I've had good results for many years.

I started to play poker 15 years ago and I took a long break when I was in college. I came back to play around 2 years ago. I guess that after all this time, I should already be 100% tilt free, but at least now I deal with tilt a lot better than years ago.

In such cases, I just take a break. But in general, poker is fun for me, so in general the game does not cause me negative emotions.

When it's not my day, I stop playing because I know that my emotions can affect my game. If I feel I am gonna tilt I close my computer and take my bicycle for a ride :D. It works well and protect my bankroll ;)

For me, I always have something like a stop loss amount. Once, however, this did not save me. I was so angry about that afterwards and imposed "consequences" on myself that it has worked since then. Good luck

Tilt on poker is manageable, take a break, stand up and walk. When one is MTT-ing tilt is really dangerous, because tilt from one table can affect other tables.

Have a stop loss limit. Whenever you fall below that limit, just close the session and get back the next day.
