Hey, this might be a stupid question but is there any way to know roughly how long a tourney is going to last based on participants, blinds, time to next blind level , starting stack etc. ?

Yea, unclick show registering/upcoming only and see how long it took the day before. :D I'm sure there is a formula, but I don't know it.

Good game good night

Todays sessions sucked a bit - down 10$.

Until the last one before going to bed....took a shot at a 3$ MTT.

More ore less took the whole FT apart, one after the other :D.

Hehe - I got a pop-up saying the batteries in my wireless mouse were dangerously low while I was in this hand. I could barely get the mouse to move so I made a bit of an overbet. I was not going risk timing out in the middle of this hand and losing it lol.

I bet my image on my table just went wacky.

Hehe - I had a tough time with batteries during that tournament. Not long after the mouse thing got resolved my mortgage/insuance companies had me on a conference call and my phone battery got low. I had no place to plug in the charger so had to keep walking from the phone to the computer while playing lol.

I think the worst thing that happened was I folded J9 on the button with no bets in front of me.

Was running really bad the last days - w/o tilting.

Regular downswing imo.

Hit the money again today - my ROI on FT has gone up to 82% now lol.

So, I've decided I'm gonna make the move to the dark side. Even though I can beat cash games pretty consistently they tilt me to no end.

MTT's is where my heart is. I love em.

Thinking I'll start playing them as my main game, but still play a few cash games to supplement the tournaments.

Welcome to the dark side!

It is a good idea to have a plan for playing some cash games to earn money when the tournament cashes are slow. I wish I was good enough at cash games to do that.

But I know what you mean about where your heart is. :)

Guess SB was thinking that MP3 was stealing and MP3 thought his overshove would hide his AA. IMHO, typical kind of play for this buy-in level.

Nice laydown by you though.

September MTT wrapup

Well, I didn't play much MTT in Sept because of school, but when I did, I did OK... If I hadn't gotten cocky and played that $5.50 rebuy, I would be in even better shape.

ROI on the top half is for all of 2009.
