i would raise at least 3bb, then call if someone reraised. Then if the flop dont show an ace, id raise half the pot and if someone reraised again then that would make me think long before making a call.
Undoubtedly ... but I think that depends on the position and the presence of the number and aggressiveness of the players ... I would prefer not to bring to all-in until I see the flop
The question you asked is wrong! There is no standard solution, it all depends on the opponents with whom you play! You in fact have defined style of their game? Some will answer you all in. Others will fold! What image you created at the table also plays an important part!
You shouldn't re-raise or call all-in if
1. you get all-in or mini-3-4-5-bet from very tight player;
2. you play in very deep stacks (>300BB);
3. you play with room's bot (if you know it for sure)
It would be an ultra rare situation to fold KK preflop. The only way I would fold would be on the bubble against a player I have detailed notes on or in a pot with more than 4 players jamming before me.
SLOWPLAYING THIS IS SO POINTLESS! You must play optimal in what will profit you MOST hands not what will profit you in THAT HAND ALONE.
IF YOU ALLOW THE LAGers to bet instead of you THEN YOUR KK LOSES POWER THE MORE HANDS THAT ARE INVOLVED as you are increasing chances of being coolered and out-drawn due to higher variance with more hands. If you've played TAG, they will probably respect your raise (if they don't, bully at the flop and if you are reraised take a deep breath and consider that you may be out-drawn depending on the nature of the flop).
I very often raise with KK. There are a few exceptions (aren't there always?) but I like to get heads up with Kings. There are times I may limp if I have a player behind me that loves raising so I can reraise.
