and you keep playing those stakes?

Haha, I'm currently working with a BR of $700. So I'm allowed to play the following:

Freezeouts <$25
The $11 1r1a
<$5r

I had my first final table and nice cash last month - finished 5th in the $11 30k on pokerstars.

So now working towards my next one. I mostly play $11 and $22 - but I do treat myself to the $55 80k sometimes. (bankroll permits)

I am in it now as a matter of fact. Got to 104th yesterday - need to do better today!

How big are the field sizes in the $22's? I'm about to start playing them.

Also how many tables are you playing at once?

There is one at noon every day that usually gets 1200-1600ish.

I only play double and deep stacks, rarely play re-buys and never 6-max. I usually only play 1 tournament at a time but will play 2 or 3 sometimes - or play a private CC game at the same time.

I rarely play any $5 - the fields are too large and the money is not good enough. :)

Yes I definitely prefer double + deep stacks, it seems like the majority of freeze outs are like this. More room for skill.

I'm playing my first $22 tonight so I'll let you know, but I know for a fact that $11 aren't any tougher than the lower fields. In fact I think its easier to cash.

The $2-5 are full of donks and you'll get frustrated with some of the random suckouts.

The $11's are full of people who know more about poker but still sucks (read: weaktight) They never bluff, piss their pants at any scare card, and you'll always know when to fold to them.

Just played my first $5 sit-n-go table last week and came in first :) ...I am mostly on the $1 and $2 dollar sit-n-gos ....thinking really hard to move up to a $10 sit-n-go ....but I am scared to try it .

My sit-n-goes are always played at fulltilt 9 players to a game.

What is your opinion and advice on this ? Should I move up or stay right where I'm at.

When moving up a level in poker make sure you meet both of these requirements:

1. You are using proper Bankroll Management.
2. You believe you will do good in the level.

The only thing thats almost as bad as losing with Aces is not getting any action with them.

I would rather get no action than lose almost all of my chips in hand like that one. :(

I don't feel it in my gut often - but that one is lingering.

The reason you felt it in your gut was that you knew that was the pivotal hand in the tourney for you. You win it, you are going deep and probably the final table.
Take heart that you got it in with the best of it at a time that was critical, you can't do any better than that.

Yea - that is exactly it. It was a big opportunity for me to final table. Not likely I would be pissing all those chips away.

Oh well - gonna play it again today. :)

I'm sticking to the 3.30 +R 180 mans
Some $5.50 < on Stars

I had great results on Tilt, but haven't done anything super impressive in the last few months on stars. Won a 2.20 w/ 355 ppl but it was only for 138.

Things are looking up though, nice thread idea :)

Saw you in a $2.20 on Pstars when I was ghosting one of my horses.

You should do the $3R in general, its pretty easy to make it itm, and if you go deep your in for a hugee payday.

Yea I love rebuys.

Had a 2nd in the 180 man earlier this month for $376 and back when i played on tilt had a deep finish for 550something. Don't know if you saw me act much though, my last 10 or so tournies have been out of town, and the wireless is atrocious. I got blinded out of 3 and just lost connection in the others....

Edit: Along that line, there is absolutely nothing worse (poker specific) than being blinded out of an MTT. It tilts me sooo hard, bc your frantically trying to reconnect and each minute that goes by all the fish are slowly leaving.

Won a $109 WCOOP seat in a $7.50 qualifier. And have 3 step 2 tickets that I won for $7.50 each in the Step 1 MTT's - played 3 and won 3.

So trying to get a $215 seat with those. Also working on getting a step 4 ticket to use for the Sunday warm-up soon.
