Hello, I am new to this site and this is my first post. I've been playing poker for roughly 1 1/2 years and have not been profitable (mainly due to my poor bankroll management and rather large ego). For the past few months I have been trying hard to increase my skill and awareness of ranges and opponents plays and consistencies. When playing out of position with a hand like QQ, JJ, TT, I find myself in tourneys shoving more often than not. In the long run this appears profitable but I am consistently bubbling the money. I am also playing lots of hands as cheap as possible, such as limping a lot in unraised hands OOP, is this okay? Should I be more conservative with my chips? Also, tracking my hands live is it more or less against the rules to write down my hands or do quick calculations at the table?
