As a complete beginner i would start with one table for sure. I would concentrate on action as much as i can and do my best to win as much as possible there. But i'm sure, that you have to aim yourself play more tables with the time. As it increase your
hands/hour and eventual income too. But you should feel comfortable with amount of tables you play. The thing is, the professionals mostly playing many tables at once, because they have played (and analyzed) already so many hands and situations, so they play them automatically. It's similar like the martial arts, you know. If you practice it long enough, your body does it automatically, when need. Same with the brain. If you played some poker situation already hundreds of time and analyzed it with poker calcs. You don't need to take your time to think about the right play. You know it already. That's a trick. More experience you have, faster you can find the right decision. Only then you can add one more table, then another one. But don't try to do that from the beginning on. If you are novice in poker, you will have just lack of concentration and as result minus results at the end of the month. Take it slow, but aware.
