It's a game and should be fun, so if it's no longer fun then you should just take a break. And yes, of course, BRM is very important, but sometimes it's not about the bankroll but about the fact that you simply have the feeling that you can't win at all and then you just have the idea that you win back what you've lost. You're then stressed and you don't make the best decisions. And in that case, it's sometimes just better to take a break

the main thing in such cases is not to tilt, take a break from the game, think about what you did wrong and calmly play on, and everything will be fine

Once you get frustrated you need to stop immediately. AT that point your more likely to make a major mistakes and just lose more and more chips.

Me I personally set a limit before I start and once I hit that point I just call it a night. A few months ago I lost 5 tournement buy ins in just over an hour. I was set to play 8 to 10 that day and just shut it down. If i played on I was more likely to just piss away my chips and money. As for cash, i always had the 2 buy in rule. Only if I lost a few coolers like AA v KK in a short span I would allow it I would never but in the 3rd time otherwise. FYI, never did buy in 3 times in a session.

.....just do yourself a favor and take a break when you're not feeling it for any reason, trying to force it will only make matters worse. The games will be there when you're ready(y)

If things aren't going well, you can stop and analyze how your game is going. If you need to study more, I recommend it.
