I am trying to learn this game so Sorry about the banality of this one, but I am trying to work out when not to c-bet? I have about a 15% open in this seat. This flop seems bad for my strong range.

Ran it through Equilab and actually against a wide calling range I am still about 57% Guy did not hang around long, but seemed to be a bit of a station. How should player types affect a decision?

My C-bet stats on the Flop is 61%

Its not the worst C-bet in the world, but the board is better for his range, and you are likely not getting enough folds. Especially not when you size down like this, which is fine for tournaments and higher stakes games, but not so much for 2NL cash. Some players might even think, it looks weak and decide to attack it with a bluff-raise. So I do prefer to not C-bet in this spot, and if he bet something sustantial, I would not fight him for this pot out of position.
