This video (see link below - mods, nothing for sale or otherwise spamy) actually has nothing to do with poker. It is a business related video that speaks in general terms about focusing and being organized in order to reach goals. I belong to a organize-your-life type forum, and while watching this, found many points to be something that someone seriously trying to reach poker goals may find useful. It is almost 13 minutes long, so not unbearable in case it brings nothing. It is more for a goal minded player who wants to learn to focus better. But it is very general, and not ground breaking, however, if it enlightens you to focusing better, then cool.

For those who may have had a couple of drinks too, the minute or so of talking about pink elephants is worth watching this thing for.

In all seriousness, if you can wade through the excessive explanations there is some good information in here. Thanks for posting this.

Ok, attempt at discussion starter:

In poker you should almost always be the best player at the table (because games are raked), you should have the edge in skill. Regardless of how good you are, you should always seek out the same standard of clueless players (although obviously better players can settle for stronger targets if need be), this is not challenging.

Should you be altering the situation (or the way you handle it) to increase the difficulty? How?

Most of the strategy discussion on forums is based on reg vs reg situations purely because it's easier to spend time analysing something that is an intellectual challenge. Yet reg vs fish situations are incredibly more important.

Do you think it's fine the way it is because you can extract no more value from the fish than you already do, or should you re-consider the value of discussions of reg vs reg situations?

Is the Ironic Process Theory even valid? What problems can you see with it?
