Not all freerolls are created equal. Some Freerolls provide a short starting stack, 1000 chips, and some Freerolls provide 3000 to 5000 chips. If the starting stack is 1000 to 1500 in chips and the registration period is an hour long, then I'm looking to play loose aggressive. If the starting stack is 1500 chips but the registration period is 30 minutes or less, then I'm going to play tight because I have some room to maneuver even though my stack might be short. There are a few Freerolls where the starting stacks are 3000 to 5000 chips. In these Freerolls I'm going to play TAG style because I know that I have a lot of room to maneuver. Like I said, not all Freerolls are created equal, so I adjust my strategy according to the structure because I know that no matter what, each type of Freeroll is going to have players who are going all-in and playing any Ax hand, and and sometimes just playing trash hoping to get lucky. It's a part of the game.
