Because the Winner had a pair of Kings and a pair of 10s and the 8

So bis two pairs are better as a pair of Kings and a pair of 9s and the 8

Hello.
I'm always unsure if the participants are seriously asking such questions or if it's a joke, but even if it's a joke, I'll still answer.🙊🙈🙉🙂
This is the usual hold'em. The best combination wins. Both pocket cards can be used, or they may not be used at all if the best combination is on the board.
Everyone has a KK pair in common, but the best combination is KKTT8.
KK998 is in second place and KK88J is in third place.

It looks like the winning hand was K-K-10-10-8. The 9's came in third.

I took a look and saw right away that TT gets its 99, I don't know why you doubted that!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not laughing at the author of the topic. Anything can happen🤷‍♀️, but I'm really surprised by such posts on a poker site, especially if the participant is not a beginner. Exactly the same as the recent question about which Full-house is stronger. I awkwardly wonder: maybe the author decided to make a joke?🙊

I believe the OP is serious.

We have all been in a hand we thought we should win.

When we are tired or confused then we don't see the whole situation. Luckily the OP has a screen shot.

And CardsChat is exactly the place to come and get your poker questions answered!

yes, I don’t laugh at the author of the post either and I agree that the person is far from being a beginner, but it’s quite strange to read such a question, here’s the question with full house, of course it’s strong 🚀

You probably would have gotten a share of the pot, if you had more chips in the pot(mmm, a little over 1700 chips bet) than player RomAllGul with his pocket 10's.

Guess its a troll or just a post for the matter of posting.

You're not the only one who has done that. Every so often IM like hey what happened and why did I lose. Check out the replay and like OH man i missed that. At least you figured it out.

It's very simple, you're making a mistake, it's not that your pair of 99 doesn't add anything to the 88, it's about everyone's contribution to the final pot. The one with 88 put it on you.And anyway you were far from the table 🤣

Simple, there are two pairs, your 9 and kings, the opponent's 10 and kings, 10 and kings and higher than your pairs

man , the pair of 10 win, is bigger than your 99 that you are holding , it´s just the basics of poker , i advice you to study this .
