Sharing experiences

I have been playing poker for about 10 years, I studied little about it, but I will share a little of what I learned from observation.

Making it clear that my favorite game is Texas Hold'em.

Just like investing in the stock market, you will have gains and losses, but in the long run, the right choices, with discipline and perseverance, will bring good results.

I’m going to talk about choosing starting hands.

If you are starting out in poker, the basic rule is, raise with strong hands or "monsters", type AA, KK, QQ or AK, AQ. Be wary of speculative hands like KQ, A10 or smaller pairs.

Over time, other factors will weigh in your decision, such as position at the table, opponent's behavior, stack size and, now the professionals will condemn me, INSTINTO. Yes, because, although they deny it, luck is also on the poker table.

But to start, if you are disciplined and follow the basic rule in the first hands, you will go a long way in many tournaments. Certainly, to win some, other factors must be incorporated. I intend to talk about them in future posts.

For now, that's all folks.
