Do you like to use the Donk Bet or is it not in your betting repertoire?

I do it to protect my hand if I hit, to avoid giving free card in case it checked to multiple opponent

certain hands are to weak to protect even when you hit. I will rarely donk a 7 or lower.

Versus aggressive players, I'll rarely donk bet - and just check call to bluff catch; check raise occasionally as a bluff and for value. Sometimes very aggressive players you can donk small into them to induce a bluff raise. Vs loose passive players I'll donk bet for value. Vs tight passive players I'll donk occasionally as a bluff.

Only use it to see the river cheap when I have a massive combo draw. Otherwise no I rather bluff full pot to get them to fold on a semi bluff when I know their weak.
