I can't wait til our re-match Dorkus - I just need another month or so and I will be ready!

another month of learning super-advanced techniques that eclipse even the mighty "shove for 10 times the pot with a flush draw"?

i'm terrified.

How swingy can be those SNGs will always amazed me. :)
After a disastrous -15% ROI over the first 50 SNGs (with a EV ROI of 17%) tendency has totally been reverted :
After 150 5.5 9-man SNGs I was showing a ROI over 10%.
So as I legitimately could think my game is in da place, I tried to move to turbo ones in order to be able to make more volume.
And after 25 SNG I'm at a 52% ROI (yes it still is a small sample but big news for me is I was always down at that point in my precedent tries :))
Still have to work on bubble but once I passed it I made ever 3rd or 1st the vast majority of time so my post bubble and HU play is OK.

So overall in 10 days (I only start playing SNG the 7th of this month), 4 difficult days to start with and then 6 pretty damn good ones. :p

Here is the screen shot ... hopefully this brag won't break this rush

Here is my graph for the past 2 weeks, which is when I joined pokerstars. All games are at micro limit SnG's, and I vary my game size selection to give variety. Beginning BR was 12.50, 50 buy ins at the $.25 Man SnG's

That looks like my stats, all but i only had 4.00 to start with. Well done..

I have a hand i would like to run past you all, some stats i had on the guy at the time, he would fold 100% on the turn, i only showed great hands when i raised, mucked when i was stealing.

full tilt poker Game #16738649325: $2 + $0.25 Sit & Go (124502100), Table 1 - 20/40 - No Limit Hold'em -
Seat 1: no strings1 (1,485)
Seat 2: DarleneH (735)
Seat 3: cookin42 (1,500)
Seat 4: uptik (1,410)
Seat 5: CrookedI59 (2,145)
Seat 6: kidkvno1 (1,800)
Seat 7: Kidvictory (1,605)
Seat 8: forthecause1 (1,350)
Seat 9: m4rkst3r (1,470)
Kidvictory posts the small blind of 20
forthecause1 posts the big blind of 40
The button is in seat #6
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to kidkvno1 [4d Th]
m4rkst3r folds
no strings1 folds
DarleneH folds
cookin42 folds
uptik folds
CrookedI59 folds
kidkvno1 raises to 120
Kidvictory calls 100
forthecause1 folds
*** FLOP *** [Jh 8d Kh]
Kidvictory bets 140
kidkvno1 calls 140
*** TURN *** [Jh 8d Kh] [Kc]
Kidvictory has 15 seconds left to act
Kidvictory checks
kidkvno1 bets 280
Kidvictory folds
Uncalled bet of 280 returned to kidkvno1
kidkvno1 mucks
kidkvno1 wins the pot (560)

Was i right to hope he would check the hand, seeing that check i took it as him not having a King.
I'm sure if i folded the hand, it would show i was holding weak cards, was bluffing this good or bad.
Your thoughts???

With this read on this player, heck yes I'm 2-barrelling ATC against him.

Sweet. I now see how much a HUD comes in to play...

I would do it, but i do not have the BR to play them :(.
I don't think i could build my BR up to play in them.
Though i wanted so much to play in it, but i guess it will have to wait till next year, i've just had to much to do the past month, i have not been playing as much as i want.
P.S Debi did you get any games in today???

I dunno - we're only in the second level so we really haven't had much play yet. Do you have this read from other games you've played with the villain or just the hands you've played so far this game? If it's just this game I'd be hesitant to rely on either the read or the idea that he's paying attention to your image.

It's a very non-standard read for a $2 SnG player too, which is what worries me. I think we'll get called too often for it to work, even though it worked in this spot, and we're better off just folding preflop.

Now... because I said I'd do this, attached are some more full-game histories if anyone's interested in having a look and providing some feedback it'd be much appreciated. There's three games in there, please don't anyone feel obliged to actually look at all three.

I feel like I'm playing better than I was this time last month when I posted some full games, but at the same time I know there's more than a few hands that I played badly in here. Any thoughts or comments appreciated, and as always happy to return the favour for people if they're interested.

I played all three tables at the same time and to the best of my knowledge I'd never played with any of the other players before (I definitely didn't have any notes on them at any rate).

Once I got my BR up to a more comfortable level, I made the transition back to Double or Nothing SnG's. My ROI over the last 15 is 72%, which I am thrilled about when you consider rake, etc. Here is my overall graph for the past 2.5 weeks.

Have you tried Stox? It would be worth a 1 month memebership to watch a ton of those.

I actually like to play mutiple games because as you play them more you get more reads on them and if you know what you are doing and they do not adjust your edge increases with every extra game.

I have had a great run for the past week with lots of 1st places. I think it helped to start reviewing my coaching sessions from the start.
