I saw a lot of pro poker players lay down a Pocket Kings, I think it's one of those hands that can either make or break your bank but the question here do you ever fold a KK hand?

I'm not a pro player , in fact I'm far from it :D But I would fold kings preflop in only one situation and thats bubble , few busts away from $$$ (if I have huge bankroll , probably wouldnt even then). In any other situation I wouldn't fold them preflop , else I would not play the game ... There are lots of hands that u beat preflop allin , and only one that dominates u .

Postflop is a different story , ofc !

Merry Xmas & happy holidays

Yep. If I dont get it all in pre-flop, an ace in the window could get me to fold if I am facing a pay bubble.

I remember 3 times, but one time I'm not happy.

It was in the final straight of Sit&Go 2.50 180 players on PS, where the board was Q3QA9. Don't ask me the suits.

I bet and the villain called. On the turn I checked and he blew it. I thought a lot because he was playing well at the table and I folded. It shows bluff: JT.

And I tilt. LOL

I had to fold KK many times in situations where I was on the bubble.

When it comes to preflop, I have no idea how you can fold KK. I would fold KK in one case if I got a 4bet or 5bet from a very tight opponent. If we talk about postflop, KK is easy to fold depending on the board structure and the type of opponent.

As mentioned, pre flop is really hard to fold. Pos flop will depends on the flop itself. Depending on the flop, could be easy to fold.

Preflop I rarely fold KK, and if you never do it, its not going to be a problem. The situations, where its correct to fold KK preflop, are so rare and far between, that its more of an academic question than something, which actually matter. Postflop KK is just a hand like any other, so sure it can be folded. Even just a simple A high board reduce the value of KK a lot.

Yes, there are some situations that require you to fold KK. For example during a spot with raise and 3bet just before the bubble

I had a couple of such cases. I was playing a tournament with an entry and an ace flopped on the table. My opponent raised and I realized that he had an ace in his hand.

Preflop no I wouldn’t fold KK, would take some serious pressure or the dagger ace on the flop then folding it is much easier for me

Depends on the situation real hard to say. For example say if you have 3/4th the chip from the chip leader and if you are in the bubble or near top 20. You go all in would the chip leader risk it??? (assuming the chip leader has a A and 10 and under) . If you are going against someone who has the same amount of chip as you maybe hard to say.

Any card should be easy to fold also to call the worse hands and that's make poker one of the most strategical games, more or less very similar with chess.

only if an A comes on the flop and a big bet is continued, maybe if we are close
to the bubble.

Folding preflop is very difficult.
On turns and rivers, it often folds.

Yes. In fact, I folded KK preflop in a HU game correctly when my opponent had AA before! Their tells were obvious though and I just "knew" they had to have AA. I folded my hand face-up disgustedly after a little mental negotiating in my mind, but my shocked opponent tabled their AA face-up to confirm my read!

No way I'm folding KK without a strong read like that though. Even with a huge read, or tell, you could be folding your KK to their QQ. Ouch!

I might fold KK on the bubble. It's difficult to get away from KK otherwise.
