If your read is correct and they have AK or AQ then you are favorite with JJ. They ned to to hit to beat you so I would call.

Honestly its a 50/50 toss up but my experiences with JJ are not good. i hate that hand. ive lost more times than i can ever think of wining with JJ. but it depends on how lucky u feel thats a tough choice but i would never play.

Sucks, but I think you have fold in that situation. Is there a right way to play JJ?

I was told once by an excellent player that there are only two ways to play pocket Jacks.....And they're both wrong! I'm still not sure if he was trying to be funny or not!

Blinds .05/10 with $2, 9 players. You are UTG with JJ you raise double blind (Mistake i'mguessing).

I raise to .35 some times of the hour and call the .10 at the other times.

My action when it comes back to me after the raise depends on the player who did the raise.

If I called and he is hyper tight and can fold and get away from JJ cheap.

If he is a donkey I will either call or raise all-in. I like seeing a flop with JJ.

The problem with the call is that you don't have much $ on the table.

Load up for the full buyin or you take away a wide of cards it may make sense to play at the table because you have no chance to stack someone for $10 if you hit a set or something along those lines.

Well, in my part, i would call. It would be near a coinflip if they have AK and AQ. Also, if you win, you do not double up, but triple up.

you know i would if it was on a day that i felt lucky and the cards seemed to be hitting for me, because at this point with a coin toss you need luck on your side.
but your also getting your monies worth if you hit you double or triple up, do you feel lucky? peace :)

Depends on the cards you gave your opponents....
If the are both tight: you get a reraise and an all in after that raise.
Your fold should have been the right move then!
They will probably hold a big pair.... :deal:

I say it's an easy fold,

unless you are in a mood to gamble money on coin flips

I made the mistake of re-raising a tight player in a cash game recently when the game stats told me he was a tight passive player. I had KK but when he went all in after I re-raised I should have known what he/she had. AA. You were right to throw those away with JJ and facing two re-raises.

I would definitly fold my Jack's, definitly... First of all just imagine what
they might have. If these two tight players are raising that hard, they must
have monsters, either Ace with a high kicker, probably king since queen is
still a bit weak, or a high pocket pair, and I'm saying that both of them
had a hand between these two. Now, if both of them had the Ace
King, it would end up to be a coin flip, but if either one of them had the
high pocket pair, you would be a serious underdog. I say this because
two Tens is an average pocket pair, and the high ones im talking about
are the QQ, KK, or AA. I would definitly fold the hand cause in the long
run I would loose money by calling
