Yeah I would advice you to play 0.10$ SnG, because it is turbo. The 0.25$ takes like 1.5-2hours, we as with 0.10$ you are in the money after 1hour approximately.

Always tempting to go for the quick money but I am thinking spin'n'go's are also a quick way to lose money. MMT's and sit n go's are safer bet especially as they take longer to play. If you play a few and don't hit, take a break and a breath. Biggest mistake is to play over your buy-in level.

Now I think the best way to make a cash are cash games, I prefer fixed limit. On low stakes there are really low level. Just play full ring table and call/raise only premium hands. A lot of players are only bluffing, trying to scare you and fold. Of course fold with low hands and play only best like AK, AA, KK, QQ. They will give you their money free.
pokerstars league is of course great and safe way to make some cash. I will earn only $5 this month, but I was a little bit unlucky. Next month University and paid rank starts from the $20, which I think I'll easily get.
You have to learn to play first of all anyway...

Yup! What i like to do is spend 10% of my bankroll. I only gamble with profit as minimal as possible.

You should manage your bankroll by allowing multiple buy-ins to whatever form of poker you play, SnG, MTT, cash game, what so ever. I would say 20buy-ins is sufficient

try to play in freerolls and try to use to your advantage any promotions that are available

Useful tips in this thread, i find cash games work. spin and go's are nice but probably smaller buy ins are more suitable with a smaller deposit. Freerolls are great but you can't always play a free roll whenever you like !

Try sng 45p or cash NL2 fullring. Study only one game.
