Sklansky is back with The Theory of Poker "No Limit" edition

The Theory of Poker is one of the most important books to be written about poker. In the days it was written... Limit Hold'Em was dominating. Many of the concepts in The Theory of Poker can be applied to No Limit... and there are a few examples using No Limit.

So how could The Theory of Poker be improved? MORE NO LIMIT!

That's just what David Sklansky did. According to Amazon "The Theory of Poker Applied to No-Limit" by David Sklansky will be released in paperback by on June 1, 2019. Let's hope that not only has the book been modernized, but also the formats... right now paperback only so I'll be holding out for the Kindle version.

Nice job summarizing the book. Its a great book and a recommended read but its also a very dry read. Good job putting together the main pots for those that would never be able to run through the whole text.

Thanks! I really enjoyed reading & studying the book. There are a lot of things still applicable today. You are right though, certainly not an easy read.

Poker has gone far ahead and at the moment Sklansky’s book is irrelevant. Nowadays, it can only be read by novice players in order to understand the basic poker concepts and in the games. Now there are a lot of free video materials on the Internet that will help to quickly and better understand the intricacies of poker.
