My suggestion would be to grind out 0.50 and 0.25 multi table sngs (180 man/ 90 man and 45 man) along with some MTTs 0.55 and below. Stars has a good selection of super micro MTTs to play which would suit your bankroll well.

In theory you must have at least 100 boxes of the amount of the tournament you wish to play, so as not to compromise your bank too much.
So between $ 0.10- $ 0.50 should be the right range to play tournaments.
A greeting!

With a $ 50 bankroll you can merge sit go from $ 1.00 to 45 players and up to 180 players depends on your time tanbem some MTT $ 1.10 and some satellites for MTT $ 2.20 my advice on MTT would be to play the KO tournaments that with some eliminations you have already recovered your registration and after that everything is profit and so much depends on your cancellation. If you want tournaments with more expensive entry as $ 3.30 $ 4.40 $ 5.50 I suggest that you play a maximum of 2 satellites for the same if you can not get the entry give them but I suggest you prioritize the KOs.

this is why my bankroll management is so bad I would play any tournament as long as it looked juicy enough never been one for the bankroll management theory. I play for fun and the rush of victories. My thoughts are poker is for fun there are a few that can make a living out of it but most of us cant we see all the pro's on T.V and the money they win what we dont see is all the games they play and how much they lose

Hey. Play those games in which you are strong and more often enter ITM.
Last time, losing in a casino, I started with micro-tournaments of 0.55-1 dollars. The bill was 3.40 dollars. I also play Sit-and-go and a small number of players, not more than 90 players.
But if you have the opportunity to replenish your account, do not suffer, play at $ 2.2-3.3, satellites at low and medium limits, there will be more results and the bankroll will increase.

My initial deposit was 50 bucks. Played micro DoN and SnG. From there as was building bankroll started playing MTT with overlays. Increasing the buyins as more money was in the account.

With $50 you could relatively comfortably play 2NL and 25c and 50c tournaments on pokerstars. Everything higher than that is a little above your bankroll. $1 SnGs would be doable but you can easily get a bad variance streak and lose it all, so that's a bit higher risk.

I think that with a 50$ bankroll, you can consider a SnG with buy-ins of 0.25$ and 0.50$ for 45/90 players.

I would advise you to start playing from single table tournaments for 1 dollar (9-max) the players in these tournaments are rather weak and if you have experience playing tournaments then it will not be difficult for you to increase your bankroll to 200-300 dollars in order to switch on mtt abi1

bankroll

Yes, absolutely not to play more than a dollar. And playing no less than half a dollar is all accurate, no more, no less, so if you lose at least a dozen tournaments, you won’t get hurt. This is the main rule for managing your bankroll - a minimum of 50 buy-ins for the same tournaments.:icon_cycl:icon_cycl:icon_cycl

Little advice

I'm looking to get past my second barrier, which is $ 100. I got almost half done but I lost everything because I did not value my money. Calm and hope need to be in focus.

I couldn't agree more.

Plus, you can't apply that "100 buy ins" rule playing the micros.

playing only 50c mtt will kill you of boredom.

I think we are more likely to mount his banckroll on spin and go 1 $. we only play against two opponents and we can quickly climb if we touch good multiplier. we are not obliged to play against several thousand players and for 3 or 4 hours for an uncertain result. the MTT is also a good way to go up but it takes more time.

I would say 0.55 MTT and 1.1KO (on KO is much easier to get some money back, and also if you finish in top 13% which is around mincash on regular tourney tou will probably get more than few buyins on KO).. altough i find BB bankroll menagement silly on such small bankrolls for recreational players..

I would play the 0,25$ 45 and 90 man regular speed SnGs and throw in a few 1$ 45 man, if it gets to boring. These have a reasonable rake and a structure, which allow you to final table regularly while also making your skill edge show. Turbos are higher variance, because the skill edge is lower, and the time scheduled MTTs are way to large, if you are limited by a small bankroll.

I think 1$ buy in mtt is a bit out of bankroll to take in consideration that there are big fieldsun mtts. Think you the best way is to grind multi tables sngs like 45 , 90 and 180..with max buy in 0.55$.

If we are talking about pokerstars, then we can confidently say that slow SNG 9max (knockout) is the easiest discipline. Mtsng can cause you difficulties. In addition, in my opinion, you do not need to play 45max, because it is more difficult to get into the prize zone in them (my opinion). Try a slow 9 max knockout or a slow 180 max for 1$

If I started to play with such a small bankroll, I would play cash on the strategy of medium stacks. ( that's about 62 buy-ins ) But this is only my opinion, if you have difficulty with the cash, do not do so.
