Can't agree more on that. A friend of mine wasn't so social, but when he started to play poker it was impossible to put him out of his apartment. He did that only for home games or to go to the shop to buy something for eat. He was quite successful, reaching 100NL level, but couldn't beat that and in three years he decided that poker isn't for him.Fix your life first. Then let Poker ruin it.
Seriously, if your life is crap, do something to make it better. Poker can only add to the frustration and will definitely give you money issues if you aren't well balanced and ready to play.
