Can you build a bankroll with no money

So im setting a challenge for myself to build a bankroll of 500$ with no money, do anyone have any ideas or tips to help me do that. ( ofc the cardschat freeroll is a great way to do it but i find its hard because sometimes there's no poker logic when you play them )

The only way to build a bankroll is to start with free-rolls and just aim to cash out in them until you make $20 or $30 then play single table games like 50 cent, sit and go's, or cash tables if you are a good player, personally I am just a hobby player but made over $400 just playing the free-rolls and $1 Dollar Sit and go's since the first lockdowns started, so it is possible.

With a lot of time and patience you will be able to build bankroll from scratch. But starting from zero means playing a lot of freerolls. That's weird that you're saying that Cardschat freerolls lack in logic, as a lot of great players play in there, it's a small field, and the level of play is definitely a lot better than in other freerolls you will be forced to play (and small buy-in tournaments as well by the way).

So resume: get used to the level of play as you will see it a lot and prepare to be patient. And you will do it.

Starting from scratch without depositing any money and earning $500 is difficult, but it is not impossible. I had a good experience in free tournaments and also won more than $500 as I topped the rankings and held the first place for a month in the Freshman tournaments on PS.
As for the CC tournaments, I see it as a good opportunity to earn some cash and get very good experiences by playing with players that I see really good compared to other free tournaments We should be grateful to the cardschat forum

You can build from zero, but if you don't put any money in, playing freerolls, at three hours to cash, will take forever, unless you catch a streak of luck. If you are lucky, cash and make more than a nickel or dime, put the winnings in BR, every time. If you set $500 as your bgoal, you can do it.
Just be prepared for the long run, with normal luck, it may take months, minimum to get there. Have faith, good luck to you.

effectively in the freerolls you will get your first $ and with those you can play mtt buy in $2.20 and try to get into prize money. with a lot of patience something is done

Yes its not that hard. Freerolls and CC freerolls then when you get 80c min buyin on 1/2c cash tales. I have actually done it on most sites hahaha

Yes you can, it just takes a lot of discipline and patience because the bankroll starts to grow so slowly in the beginning and will speed up progressively if you have the skills needed

Hello everyone,i have built my bankroll only on freeroll money,and from november 4th i have built about 100 dollars or so.Its definently possible,but no big money can be made if you dont invest yourself.

Yes you can, it is hard but not that much if you are a solid player, you can play freerolls everyday all the day if you have time, than you can enter some tournaments from what you've earned. I started my bankroll that way, entered a 27 cents (got from freerolls) on ACR and won like 50$, i got that money and deposited on other sites where i played only the bonus, they give free tickets to spin'n'go tables and tournaments money, that way you can make a really nice bankroll. Honestly if you can, I would do what I have done and deposit a small amount (£10-20) and play the micros. I've only done one freeroll so far but it had over 2100 entries!

Sure its possible. CC freerolls + 888 are a great way to build a nice start.

I feel that with the help of Cardschat with their freerolls and if you are good at the tables, you have a chance to win this from scratch and much more. You just have to know how to manage what you earn well and not want to do all this overnight. Regards.

It's doable for sure as mentioned above here is my suggestion:
I did it with MTTS and Tournies not cash games - so maybe a different strategy for that.

Determine which sites you play on if more than one and check the lobby for microstakes. See what the lowest price entry fees are for that site

Example: CC at the time had freerolls on BOL/ACR/Sportsbetting and everygame poker. ACR one a day and the others twice a week. Plus I checked for any other freeroll options on that site whether hosted by a different forum or the site itself.

I then did nothing but freerolls till I reached $100 on any particular site

Then I played $1.65 MTTS and single table sng's till I ran that up to about $200 then stepped up to $3.3 games

Reason I did this is I had been playing cc freerolls for a few years already but had nothing to show for it until I looked at the leaderboard and was able to see over the course of the year I cashed $100+ dollars but I was spending it as fast as I made it so couldn't do a true microstakes grind and make an attempt at running it up.

Anyway gool luck in whatever way you attempt this. My way was very long and tedious and I am sure others did a better job faster than i did but that is how I eventually got roughly $2500 accross 4 sites currently over a two year period. But others are much better at this than I am.

You can, it will probably take some time. I started with no money and just played freerolls. Study and play freerolls and you will start getting yourself a bankroll. Good skills!!!

But anyways, everyone knows that freerolls are a beast of its own, however he was talking specifically about cardschat freerolls, that are solid in poker logic overall. And while building bankroll from 0, a player not gonna have a luxury of playing a lot of high-level games. Cardschat freerolls is pretty much the best one can get, considering the circumstances.

It will take time to build small bankroll from Freeroll\Freebuy. I agree some player will go in with any two to build 4x starting stack or more.

I would look at the site to determine they have a freeroll and win giveaways to Twitch streamer's home games..
