I admit I dabble in the casino on occasion when I get bored, a little BJ or nickel slots. I'm usually happy to win $2, $3 or $5 and call it quits. I'm pretty risk averse there so if I drop $10 I'll bail.

Pretty much all been said above: if you're playing against the house, whether it's on table games like blackjack, roulette and baccarat, or on slots, you are making -EV bets.

Never crossed my mind to try online slots. Do like wanderin through a casino, relaxing, visiting with family or friends, having a few drinks, people watching & playing some slots. It's called entertainment & you do it with money you can afford to lose. You come out ahead enjoy it because the house wins in the end.
