tilting

I only tilt when one guy, the same guy on a table betters you everytime. And before you know it, he's put you out on a hand he should never have played and then tells you 'you played it wrong' lol i get so angry and have to go away from the computer...

for me i hatewhen you play tight, fold anything but premies
such as i wont play A3o or crap like that(83, 72) yet more times than not
they will catch 4 cards to my qq,kk,aa.
and my all time fav. is when you have better hand and the drawer pushes and you make the call and he's busted with nothing then the good ole river spanks me like a bondage call girl.
I was in ticket tourny, top 28 get $400 tic, i was in 17 with 36 to go
AK outdrawn by A6, next hand AK outdrawn by k7, then next hand i had qq and i was on tilt big time, lost to 10 8, went out 34th
AHHHHHHHG pisses me off just talking about it.
ps i folded more than a chinese laundry before that

I go on tilt when I'm playing multitable and the screen switches when I want to go all in or fold vice-versa.
Folded a straight flush last week and called an all in clear flush with 9,3o yesterday.
Healing method: NO MULTI-TABLE ANYMORE

...and I go on tilt when my cat pisses on my job-related papers or kills my plants.

Tilty Tilty tisk tisk

Tilting at poker is the quickest way to lose it all. Some tilters don't even realize the way there game changes when they're tilting. Expect bad beats and dont play distracted. when it happens if u have to step away to gather urself do it. Losing a few blinds is better than tilting ur way to the rail

forgot.....

Oh ya by the way, If all else fails do what Monoxide does. Putting a hole in the wall may hurt your hand but it definitely makes u forget the bad beat. LOL

Here is generally how I tilt. I get terrible hands for hours. I'm fine with that. I finally play hand and get unlucky or just simply crushed. I then keep buying in to the same table never winning a hand.
The best way is to probably take a break if you lose a buy in. I read somewhere that 30BB is a point to stop as well.

Problem is not stopping and just playing anyway.. Missing sleep, then anxious to beat it back home to try to win it back the next night.. Or miss work altogether.

I only tilt when I get a full house on the flop and even with raise and reraise they stay, like flies on sh!t, till the river seaching for the ace to go with their pocket pair and tilt loves to reward them for fishing.

I found out recently that i tilt when i have personal problems bouncing around in my head and not fully able to focus on poker. i start to push trying to make things happen and it might work for awhile but i will eventually run into someone holding a hand and be for i know it my whole stack is gone. For me thats when i go on tilt and getting sucked out on doesnt help the situation either. I am starting to learn that i need to control my emotions on the table better.

I will say this. If I am tired I get bad cards and play them bad. Does that help? If I can focus I do not tend to tilt........as bad. LOL

People generally tilt because most have a inner desire to lose. It is almost a comfort. I have experienced this myself. Losing is much easier than winning. It takes less time and effort. So few of us really have a burning desire to win. We would like to, but just don't want to have to work for it. We all want to be easy. Tiger Woods, Lebron James, Michael Phelps .. the art of winning consumes these people and have a competitive drive that the mere mortal man will never obtain. When they lose, they strive to get better. When we poker players lose, we throw tantrums, call others names, and post in forums that online poker is rigged. The last thing we are going to blame is ourselves. You now may flame away. Here endth the sermon.
