Hello, i have no idol cause im not watching poker, even i do i dont remember their names. I think is good thing to have an idol, to learn from.
So i have to ask you something.

Does that you have an idol makes your game better?
Are you trying to play like him sometimes?

Is not a searching for an idol that makes you play better, but searching more learning to play better makes you like the pro playing way, then yes, you will try to reach that game level, repeating your idol game. I dont know about english very well, I hope you can understand me.

My favorite would be Daniel Negreanu. He doesn't seem to play much in major tournaments or at least I don't see him at final tables. But when I do see him, I really enjoy his conversations with the other players. It's none aggressive, actually pleasant, but still I'm sure is evoking tells for himself. I also like what I consider to be his smallball approach. Never overcommitting, satisfied with a gradual buildup of his stack
