Greenstein I'd agree with you but not Negreanu. How much time have you spent with Negreanu? I find him to be a bit arrogant. There's not many I've met that seem to really enjoy listening to themselves as much as Daniel.
My Dad He's retired and lives off his winnings. I've only played at a table with him once(I know he can read me effortlessly so I avoid playing against him, because he can and WILL take my money, even if it's only a way of teaching me), and I've watch him play many games, but playing against him was amazing.
Dan, The Man, Harrington. He made his 2 recent wsop runs when I was really first into poker. I think that's how it works for people finding a personal connection to a player. I don't have a poker idol who I emulate, at the poker table I am me.
Started playing poker about two months ago, have been watching a decent amount of poker tournaments and videos in general. I'd say Negreanu 'cause of his attitude, looks like an easy going fella.
My idol I would have to say I have a few...Daniel N. Is number 1 I like him because of his reading people so well. Number 2 Chris Moneymaker because he have me the dream to be in the WSOP tournament. Number 3 Phil Ivey he should me that you have to keep your cool when playing poker because there are a lot of people that try to get under your skin to make you play bad.
