Who is Doug Polk?

I am fairly new to poker, but I enjoy watching YouTube videos of cash games, hand analysis, etc. I must admit that Doug Polk has contributed a lot to my understanding and enjoyment of the game. The guy has great info to share, especially from a beginners perspective, and tbh he's funny as hell. I mean, comeon, he wore a 'more rake is better' shirt when he got sat next to Negreanu at the big one drop. It was sick to see him win his 3rd bracelet, especially since it was in the big one drop.

He's a high roller experienced player, I'm personally not a fan of his playstyle but neither can I call it bad as it has seemed to work for him. He's well respected in the community and has become a 'meme' in the poker world if that's the right way to interpret it with nowadays language. You should definitely watch his streams/videos there's a lot to learn from him
