Where did the action go?

I haven't played in a while (6-10 months) but decided to give poker a shot again. When I joined some low NL games (mostly 25NL) there was just absolutely no action. It seemed like everyone was playing with their life savings on the line and were afraid to put a bet in the pot. I know the action used to be at Party, Pacific and Everest. Are the games still reasonable there? Any help on where to play is much appreciated!

Edit: And what's with everyone sitting there with a 20bb stack? So boring....

People got better basically. And @ the 20 BB stack point people learned to shortstack. On the other hand it's getting easier to run over games . It's just that nut mining is becoming less and less profitable.

edit: Also it's Wednesday afternoon. Wait until Friday night and you should see a lot more crazy loose fish.
