When did you start playing Texas Holdem?

I was in a casino one time and I accidently walked into the poker room, I was looking for black jack so I asked someone where they were and he said I was in the poker room, I said to him I better leave because you need alot of money to play poker, he said the min. buy in was $30.00 so I got a seat, sat down and loved it even though I lost and the rest is history.

I started playing back in 2004. My first online site was NLOP, then I signed up with the Gamblers.... There, I had my first wins, $50, a 4 night Bahama Cruise, Tix to Kenny Rogers Christmas Concert, and other monies.....I sure do miss that one, lol..I love TH and wont play anything else, unless I am really bored.

I started playing Texas Holdem just over 10 years ago. I joined CC a few months later to learn more about the game and meet people with interests that were similar to mine.

Started playing over 10 years ago as well, just before Moneymaker won, I had watched the Series for the previous couple of years when I was getting into it. I've pretty much consistently watched ESPN networks all my life, if they showed pool, I got better at pool, if they showed darts, I played darts, etc. I like all types of games but stick to NLHE and PLO8. Mostly an MTT/STT player but throw in cash games here and there as well.

I started playing texas holdem me when I was 12 with some friends we played for pennies for very little money, remember that I never liked the texas holdem because my friends always beat me and that was frustrating after a while I started to look after online articles I could see that I had more advantage over my friends and they stopped inviting me, that was in 2003 now I work in poker, try to learn every day, hands evaluated and the most important bankroll management.

I started playing on full tilt back in 06 before all the legal crap.The freerolls where every 2 hours and the storied ft point tourny's were nice! I believe i saw an ad on the internet for full tilt and after that i became officially a poker junkie!
