There are loads to choose from but which is your favourite poker movie of all time? Mine has to be Casino Royale 2006 as it's actually my favourite bond movie and soundtrack. For a film to be solely based on a poker game, there really isn't as much poker played as i would have liked but still a great movie.
For me rounders is the best

Molly's Game (2017) – One of the Most Realistic Movies About Poker!
Molly’s Game is one of the latest true poker movie to hit the big screens. Released in 2017, it is based on the true story of Molly Bloom, the “Poker Queen” who used to run private high-stakes games featuring some of the biggest Hollywood celebrities, businessmen, and professional players.

The movie stars Jessica Chastain, Idris Elba,

it's a shame the movie doesn't address poker as much, but the poker scenes are well-crafted

Maverick is more of an action adventure than a poker movie. It's just that poker goes like a storyline there.

Casino Royale by far the most realistic out off all (for online pokerstars players). Their final hand is just routine spot which we face every night.

My pick would have to be "Shade". It is not your usual Texas Hold-Em poker, they play many variations in the movie. But the movie is entertaining and full of poker and card tricks.

Majority of such films or film scenes are too theatrical and I don't like them.

There is an old movie, but not really about poker. However, it is poker in this film that becomes the key moment that sets the dynamics, intrigue and, in general, the plot. "Honeymoon in Las Vegas" starring Nicolas Cage and Jessica Parker. I recommend watching it. I guarantee a portion of pleasure!

I agree with many moviegoers, Molly's Game (2017) is one of the most realistic poker movies ever! I love it, I have it in the top for family viewing. Anyone who hasn't seen this movie is missing out on a lot.

I also forgot the Big Game poker show, Shark Cage, featuring the best poker players.

Plots about poker are not too varied, but in such a movie everything is arranged, like in the game itself: there are few combinations, but each game is special, and emotions from a royal flush are always worth the wait. And even if the game was not successful, you can always take away from it at least a good experience. My favorite movie is The Great Game.

Rounders is probably the most fun and exciting romp which is actually focussed on poker, rather than poker just being something that happens at some point in the film.

More recently, Molly's game came out...and was quite good....but not as fun as Rounders.

I've tried to find good poker movies, but they are few and far between.

Most movies about poker or revolving around poker are pretty bad and generally seem to be written by people who don't know the first thing about poker.
I think there is a good market out there for Poker films though...they just need to be much better written.
