I was 15 or 16 playing at a pool hall. My 88 vs 33 all in pre. The last person showed A3 suited and folded. He hit the case 3 on the river. It was for a few 100 dollars. At that age that was so much money I should have won .still salty about it almost 15 years later..

My worst hand wasnt a bad beat but a huge mistake.
I was near the bubble in sunday million few years ago. I had second most chips and guy with the most chips was at my table. Hand before this i won great amount of chips on KK and was almost equal with the guy with most chips. Then i get QQ. And i played it terrible. Cant get into details now but it was most obvious thing in the world pre flop that the guy i was playing against had aces, the guy with the most chips. But i was in my early years of playing poker and didnt know 10% of what i know today. And to this day im angry at myself for butchering that hand so much.

I know ive already chimed in but one more lol not really a bad beat story but just a case of the run bads.

My first time ever playing live poker in a casino setting i was playing $1/$2 nl at charlestown wv. Anyhow, my father in law took me up there and gave me $200 to buy in at the table as a gift for becoming engaged to his daughter - anyhow, i sit down and within one hour i get KK, raise pre to $8, get 3bet to $20, folds back around i make it $70 - the 3better says all i got is $44 - so he gets it in with AJ off - flop came AJX and no help to me, not a huge deal but lost that one. Within about 40 minutes i look down at KK again in a raised pot, i 3bet to $25 the original raiser - whom ive noticed had been playing loose all night - rips it in for $109 more - i think for only about a minute or so and calling leaves me about $95 - i do make the call and he turns over 10-10, i feel great, the flop comes out and right in the window is a 10 - a guy sitting to my right immediately goes "thats sick bro, i folded a 10" so again, my KK gets cracked not much i can do. I move tables, run my little $95 up to about $150ish, and within another hour i see KK again - i open to $8 get, 3bet to $30, i 4bet to $85 and the guy tanks for a second, then ships it, he has me covered, i insta call and his face shows it before his cards turn over, he has JJ - he says nice hand, the flop is good, the turn...a Jack, no help on the river and i am done for the night. Had a great time playing poker, but to get KK 3 times in 3 hours and lose to one over and 2 under pairs, rough night lol.
