I stick to the positions at the table-my stack and which players are at the table at the moment.Based on this, I choose the starting hands for the drawing of a particular hand.JD is a good hand, especially if it is one-suited!
We all know the best game is with AA, KK, QQ but if you ask me which pair I have in my soul is 10 10, with it I feel lucky and with JJ I lose almost every time almost regardless of the position at the table or bet..is bad luck for me!
I prefer to play with paired hands, although connectors cannot be discarded either, but a lot in the game depends not only on what hand you have, but on the position, opponents, and stack.
QJ i dont like, its almost always be dominated by AJ KJ KQ AQ or somthing, now 9 10 is beter, if you connect to a flop with top pair, theres much less to worry about
I mean come on guys, AA KK? I think you all are too excited about those hands, and as my experience says, the more excited you are the more hard is for you to reevaluate strength of your hand and fold it. Don't be too excited, and if you could not get much money preflop or on the flop with 1 or 2 max players, then its time to calm down.
When I have a deep stack, QJs is one of my favorite hands. Otherwise, if my stack is short, I prefer AA, KK, they definitely help me many times to get to the final table.
It depends. When I'm against Aces I prefer having 10 J suited than pocket Kings. Especially when playing short deck it is favourite I think in Short Deck.
