I see many big names in poker with trash 'favorite' hands(for example DNegs has T7, Doyle Brunson had T2* RIP Texas Dolly...), it's usually because they've won important events/ big pots with it... I'm more like Doug Polk regarding this: AA- favorite hand, KK- 2nd favorite hand, QQ- 3rd favorite hand lol...

This is very common in poker, and very sad haha, but whether we want it or not, it will always give us the confidence and the will to give ALL in before the Flop, even at the risk...
