If you flop nutz on the flop then the objective is to maximize profit right. If you are drawing with multiple outs. Or what I think of as a drawing hand then you are limiting risk until you are holding nutz.
Now if playing for adrenaline rush then recommend Craps.

Statiscally speaking it's (almost) always better to have the nuts in the flop than just drawing to it. There's a specific case that a draw can have more chances of winning than the nuts on the flop. If the flop is As3d4d, while the nuts is 25, 56s has better odds.

I really play a lot of Omaha and it's a game that generally looks for the nuts throughout the showdown
In NLH the nuts are quite difficult to get, nor do you get them on the flop, that is, you can get certain nuts.
For example, in an MTT I recently paid a BB with 83 and the flop was 833. I managed to win the big pot on the river, but my two opponents had AA and 33, that is, with an Ace or the other with a 3 on both streets. subsequent cards got the nuts.
It has happened to me to get possible nuts on the flop and lose at showdown,

I would rather play the nuts. I don't play poker for a rush. Even though you still get into flip situations. So you'll still get a rush even if you don't try.

i would take the nuts on the flop

the probability of winning the hand is higher that way . and you also are not in much stress and can play the hand more comfortably compared to having the draw and hoping to hit

Would rather have nuts on flop and let them try to outdraw me or even lose , rather then chase, miss , bluff , and going home broke or rebuying .

Even when you lose with nuts on flop , you know you couldnt do it much better except maybe playing it more aggressively and avoiding any bad cards on turn and river , since we all love to check call 2 streets and raise on river (unless ofc ...)
